Last week when I was at Mcfly, I got asked a lot of questions about my make up, which actually surprised me, as I don’t think i’m the best at make up! So, this is my bronze make up look that I put together and that I wore to most of their shows.
Step 1. I started of with using ‘Hazelnut’ and blending into my crease, then added ‘Haute Chocolate’ the other brown shade and blended them both together until I was happy with my smokey eye. Then, using the gold shade ‘Creme Brûlée’ as a base I applied that blending as I go, as you don’t want it to look blocky.
Step 2. Now, the messier part. I bought this gorgeous shade ‘Bronze’ from Barry M’s Dazzle Dust collection and applied that over ‘Creme Brûlée’. I dabbed this on, so I didn’t get a lot of fall out on my face, as it can cause a lot due to it being powder.
Step 3. I then got my Kat Von D liner, and applied a cat eye flick. This is the only eyeliner I can use without using tape as a guide, and it’s honestly the best eyeliner I’ve came across! Then, added mascara to my top and lower lashes, and my eye pencil to my waterline!
Step 4. Lashes. Something I still struggle with, even though I use them a lot now! I always go for the same natural lashes, they feel a lot lighter on my eyes. The only tip I have for adding lashes is patience, and making sure that you wait 30 seconds or more to apply, as you want it tacky and not wet when applying so it doesn’t slide on your eyes. That make sense? I hope so!
Step 1. I used my Mac Foundation and put 1 and a half pumps on the back of my hand. I blended this in with a beauty blender!
Step 2. I then got my Collection concealer and added some under neath my eyes, down my nose, forehead and chin, and blended that in with another beauty blender I have. I use two different blenders just as they are different shades and noticeably different!
Step 3. My gorgeous contour kit by ABH is my absolute saviour! I use the second shade ‘Macchiato’ and put on my face where the sun would naturally hit. So, my forehead, nose, and of course cheekbones. It’s very hard to explain on a blog about contouring, but I hope you understand what I mean!
Step 4. I apply my blush, by swirling all three shades together and applying to the apples of my cheeks. Then, use my go to highlight MAC’s Soft & Gentle and apply above where you put your blush.
And voila, my bronze make up look!
I hope you loved this look as much as I do, do you have any eyeshadow palettes or dazzle dust you can’t live without!? Leave me a comment below!
