Now it’s autumn, I usually change up my more summer colour like rose golds, to dark browns and golds. But, lately I’ve loved a rose gold smokey eye with a brown matte lip, as you’ve still got that autumn feel. So here is my take on a rose gold smokey eye, enjoy!
Make up used
Eylure Lashes 027
Step 1. I first start off with applying a brown shade from the Morphe 35T Palette, and apply that into the crease of my eye, then packing the rose/pink shade onto the base of my eye making sure it’s filling the whole lid. I then get the black shade from the Chanel ‘Tisse Riviera’ palette and add that to the outer corners, blending as you don’t want it to look like all the colours are in blocks of colour. I then get a cotton pad, it could be a cotton bud if you want to, and I add some make up remover and neaten it up around my eyes to get rid of any fallout that’s on my face.
Step 2. Then, I add eyeliner, I applied the liner quite thick as wanted a bold statement, and then added Mascara to my top and bottom lashes, and then finished off with applying my Eylure lashes.
Step 1. I apply my foundation next, I always apply my foundation after my eyes are done, not to sure why, just have always done it. I pump 1 and a half pumps of MAC’s studio fix onto the back of my hand, this tends to cover my whole face, and blend with a beauty blender.
Step 2. I then contour, I use the second darkest shade from the ABH contour palette, and apply that to my forehead, nose and cheekbones (or just below where you apply blusher, sorry not great with all the terms of contour). Where the sun would naturally hit. Also, my jawline, to hide my chins, or at least try to!
Step 3. Blush and Highlight. I apply blusher on the apples of my cheeks, and highlight to my nose, brow bone and just above where I applied blush. I love lots of highlighter, and the MAC one is by far my favourite.
Step 4. Then I fill in my eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow. I’m loving this right now, and couldn’t live without it! I don’t need to add too much as my eyebrows are thicker, I’m not sure if that’s a blessing or a curse!
I recently got a Kylie Lipkit, so absolutely loving this right now. I’m using the shade ‘Maliboo’ and first line my lips with the lip pencil and then apply the matte liquid lipstick.
Ta-Da! I hope you like this make up look as much as I do. What are your go to make up looks for Autumn/Winter? Let me know in the comments below!
