I love doing autumn/winter makeup looks, and recently going through the palettes I own I noticed I have a lot of deep purple shades, and decided to throw together a plum makeup look! I’ve left all the products I have used for this look below with links!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette | Metallic Plum and Deep Purple
Step 1 | I started of by using Urban Decay’s Primer Potion and applied that to the base of my lids, it makes your eyeshadow stay on for longer and honestly couldn’t live without it. I then added ‘Creme Brûlée’ from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and applied that all over my lid.
Step 2 | I then went straight into adding Metallic Plum from the Self-Made Palette and applied the shade lightly into my crease and built it up a bit more heavier on the outer corners. This is a very subtle plum colour but you can see by the picture when it hits the light it sparkles purple, which I love!
Step 3 | I added mascara to my top and bottom lashes, and added a thicker cat eye flick to make the look stand out. If you aren’t great at doing liquid eyeliner I’d definitely try Maybelline’s Master Precise Liner as it’s so easy to use!
Step 4 | I’m obsessed with Ardell lashes at the moment, and love these thicker eyelashes. Fake eyelashes I feel always make your makeup look stand out, so I’d definitely try them out, even if they are lighter lashes. (unfortunately I miss placed them when I went to take photos) *sad face*
Step 5 | Lastly I added ‘Deep Purple’ to my lower lash line. It’s a brighter purple to ‘Metallic Plum’ and gives this dark smokey eye a pop of colour!
