I am a massive lover of all things glitter when it hits the festive season so I decided I’d a make up look using coppers and a bright red lip to finish, to brighten up my look. Enjoy!
Tanya Burr Matte Lip | Christmas Stocking
I started off by applying my foundation and moving straight onto priming my eyes for my shadow. I go back and do the rest of my face later, in case of eyeshadow fall out.
After priming my eyes, I went on and applied ‘Wood-Winked’ a brown shades and applied that in the crease of my eye, and then added ‘Creme Brûlée’ all over the rest of my lid! Lastly, for the outer corner I added ‘Beauty Marked’ and blended that in with the rest of the shades, until I was happy with my look. (Black Forest Truffle from the Too Face Chocolate Bar palette is a great dupe for ‘Beauty Marked’)
Then I added the Barry M Dazzle Dust and dabbed that over where I applied ‘Creme Brûlée’. This is such a gorgeous copper/gold and is super long lasting. I also applied this under my lower lash line too.
Next was liquid eyeliner, I use a pen eyeliner, as I find that a lot easier to apply and done a cat eye affect, not going too over the top, as I have a bright lipstick to make up for it. I added mascara to my top and lower lashes and black eye pencil to my waterline.
Then I contoured using Benefit’s Hoola bronzer, I’m totally loving that bronzer right now, and don’t go a day without it. I then added blush to the apples of my cheeks and highlight to finish.
Eyebrows. I badly need mine done, so ignore how bad they are, but I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow, and I couldn’t live without it! It’s an amazing product, and recommend it to anyone!
Last but not least, my lips. I received this gorgeous bright red shade from my Tanya Burr advent calendar. It’s a matte liquid lipstick and super long lasting!
