Sunshine On A Rainy Day | Book Review

I am a massive lover of books, my collection is growing by the minute so I was excited when I opened this from Louise as part of my Christmas present and couldn’t wait to get  stuck right into it. I haven’t actually ever heard of the author Bryony Fraser before so I couldn’t wait to find out her writing style.

This book is about Jack and Zoe who have been married for a year, but on there one year anniversary they announce their divorce. The first page you find out they get their divorce, but it takes you back to the very beginning and takes you through what went wrong. In between there current situation it takes you back to when they first met and how happy they were. It was such a well thought idea, and you really get to know each characters story. I really took a liking to Jack especially, there was just something about his character that made me fall in love with him.

I couldn’t put this book down, and actually read this whole book in a day taking breaks in-between, even though I didn’t want to. This book is also really relatable. It definitely gives you the reality of a relationship. It shows the good, but also the bad, and goes into detail on not only their relationship, but their parents and friends relationships to, which I really loved. Not only that, but it gives you an insight into what goes on behind closed doors in a relationship, and the reality of it all.

This book is honestly so relatable, and there’s definitely points you can read and totally understand, and agree with. Also, it shows that marriage isn’t for everyone, and the reasons behind it, which honestly I never really understood until reading this book.

I hope you guys can grab yourself a copy of this, and take a read. I really enjoyed it, and I hope you do to! Have you ever read this? If you have let me know in the comments below what you thought!
