10 Things I Can’t Live Without

We all have things we can’t live without, and I thought today I’d share mine. I love reading blogs like this as you can really get to know a person through the things they like! Enjoy!

Books

I am a complete book worm, and already this month read 3 books. I much prefer books to watching movies, which never used to be the case before! I love imagining what each character looks like, and what their houses look like etc. Just me? It’s something I love to do after work as usually after a stressful day, reading relaxes me!

Music

I need to listen to music whatever I do, if that’s doing the dishes, getting ready for work, showering.. you name it. Music always puts me in a good mood. My go to artists to listen to are, Mcfly, Little Mix, You Me at Six, 30 Seconds to Mars, Ed Sheeran and Bloodlines, who I am really getting into right now!

Gigs

I usually go to about 1 gig every 2 months, if that’s a larger gig or just a small gig in my hometown, I go to it! I love the atmosphere and how everyone comes together and supports that one band/singer you love. I am actually going to Olly Murs next week, Bloodlines in April, Download in June and Little Mix in November. I no doubt will find some more gigs to fill my time with as well.

Colin | My boyfriend

Aw, I know I am being cheesy, but even though he is the most annoying human being I know, he is also the best I know. We laugh until we cry, be stupid together, go on days out, play video games together and go on nights away to gigs, which is our perfect night together. I am so lucky he comes to the things I love, like for example, he went to three nights of Mcfly with me when they played all their albums back to back over three nights. Not many boyfriends would do that. He is pretty amazing, and my life would be very dull without him.

Dry Shampoo

How amazing is dry shampoo? Even though it is bad for your hair, and does make my hair fall out a lot faster (is that just me?) I couldn’t live without it. If I am in a rush for work, and don’t have enough time to wash my hair, it is a complete life saver! I literally take it everywhere with me, and is one of my hand bag essentials!

Anastasia Beverly Hills

Any products by ABH I am in love with! If I had to choose one makeup brand to use for the rest of my life, I’d definitely pick Anastasia Beverly Hills!┬áDaily I will use my Dip Brow, contour palette and either the Self-Made palette or the Modern Renaissance palette even if that is just for a little bit of highlight in the corner of my eyes, I’ll instantly grab it.

Sims 4

I have always been obsessed with sims, for as long as I can remember. My parents bought me Sims 2 : Bustin Out when I was like 11/12 and since then I’ve been hooked! Sims 4 is honestly a complete game changer though, as there are so much more things you can do, that you could never do before! I do enjoy building houses way more than playing the actual game, but doesn’t everyone?

Pyjamas

I am a complete hoarder of Pjs, and probably have more pyjamas than I do clothes! I am a sucker for warm, wooly pjs which I think Colin must be getting sick of, as it makes him ‘too hot’ at nights, but to me cosy pjs are life! I come home from work and the first thing I do, is run and put on my fleecy pj bottoms and lounge about until I actually need to get dressed and go somewhere.

Carbs

Lately I have been moaning about my weight, as I know myself I have gained a few unwanted pounds! However, If I stopped eating bread, potato, pasta and pizza I would definitely notice a change in my weight, but do I want to give up those 4 tasty tasty foods? EM NO!! Maybe one day, but right now a pizza and a movie on Netflix is the best thing about the darker nights.

Spencer

My dog Spencer is my best friend. Even thinking of him makes my heart burst, as I’m not sure I can love anything as much as that little ball of fur! He might drive me up the walls sometimes, and make me go red in the face by the amount of times I have to say ‘Spencer’, ‘Spencer shut up’ or ‘stop barking at the neighbours, you know them’ which I must say about 20 times a day when I go up and see him at my parents, now that I don’t live there. I think moving out my parents, he was the hardest goodbye, even though I live about a 5 minute drive away, but he is the cuddliest dog I know, and would rather cuddle you on the couch, than go a walk, and that definitely makes us bond a lot more as I do love a good nap!

I completely agree with you on books and music. I love reading over watching t.v. or movies and you an usually find my nose in a book. I have music on all the time and I have this weird thing were if I like a song I must memorize the lyrics!
