I love throwing together makeup looks i’d never normally wear, and as much as I love the colour pink, it’s a shade I never normally wear on my eyes. So, seeing as it’s Valentines Day on Tuesday, I thought I’d do a pink eye look to get right in the mood for it. Leave your thoughts below in the comments, or any other eye looks you’d like to see!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette
Step 1. I started by applying primer to my eyes, as I feel it makes a huge difference when applying eyeshadow. I then used my Modern Renaissance Palette from ABH and went in with the shade, ‘Buon Fresco’ applying that into my crease, then adding ‘Love Letter’ and applying that about half way along my crease and blending in with ‘Buon Fresco’, this is a hot pink, and really stunning. I then added ‘Venetian Red’ and applied that into my inner corners, blending as I went along, applying this really makes the whole look stand out, as think a darker shade in the outer corner makes a huge difference.
Step 2. Then I moved onto the Self-Made Palette also by ABH. I’d never used the shade ‘Blossom’ before so applied that to the rest of my lid. It’s such a beautiful pink, and I can’t believe I never used it until now! Then added ‘Treasure’ to my inner corners as it’s the perfect highlighting shade for this look.
Step 3. Next I applied liquid liner, pencil eyeliner to my waterline and mascara. I am loving the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara right now, so couldn’t wait to use it for this look! I applied mascara to the top and bottom lashes. After that, I moved onto lashes, applying ones by KISS, which aren’t too ‘in your face’, as it still gives off that ‘not to made up’ finish.
Step 4. Lastly I neatened up my look by applying Collection Concealer until my eyes, you’d be surprised at the different adding concealer to your finish eye look does! I also lightly applied the shade ‘Blossom’ underneath my bottom lash line too!
