I think this is one of the first times I’ve ever done a ‘First Impressions’ blog. I love the concept of it, trying something totally new, and that you have no idea what it will be like. I have never used Makeup Revolution products before, as I’ve heard so many mixed reviews. But, doesn’t everything have mixed reviews though? I might just be a little fussy! So, I am excited to give this a try, and do a makeup tutorial using this palette for Thursday’s blog!
This palette cost £8 which I think is fantastic for a 32 eyeshadow palette! I have many palettes with 12-16 shades that cost me £42 so you can’t really go wrong can you? They are smaller than your normal eyeshadow pans, but to be fair, they need to fit in the 32 shades somehow!
I done a look with a few shades from this palette to see how the colour pays off, and I am so surprised about how amazing they look! To touch, the pigment is fantastic! But, applying it to your eyes can sometimes be different, but with this palette it isn’t! I am slightly obsessed with the shimmer shades, which are more pigmented than the matte, but that is to be expected, and I mean which matte shades aren’t?
I also love the big mirror on this palette to, as you can pop this in your bag and use it on the go. I really am a sucker for palettes with a good mirror! The palette itself is just plain black with ‘Makeup Revolution’ in gold writing. It may be plain, but it’s very sleek and minimalist is sometimes way better! In this case, it definitely is! The other thing that I love is how each shade has a name, which makes my life a lot easier if I need to do a tutorial as I can say names instead of ‘that cream shade, next to the other lighter cream shade’.. you get me?
Would I Recommend?
Yes! 100% as it’s super affordable, and if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on palettes, then this is perfect for you! I’m annoyed at myself I never went out and bought one sooner!
On Thursday I am going to be putting up a look using this palette, as I’ve fallen in love with it! Have you ever used Makeup Revolution palettes? Let me know which one you used and if you recommend it!
