Smokey Eye Look | Zoeva Mixed Metals Palette

Lately I have been going to the same eye look, so I thought I’d change it up and go back to a look I used to be obsessed with. I forgot how much I love a silver smokey eye look, so I thought I’d do this look by only using the Zoeva Mixed Metals Palette, which is absolutely gorgeous!

Step 1

Firstly, I applied primer to my eyes as adding primer makes a huge difference when wearing eyeshadow! I then applied the shade ‘rusty steel’ in the crease of my eye, building this shade up. Next, I used ‘aluminum’ which is a deep silver and with the same brush as I applied ‘rusty steel’ I apply that into my crease taking that right down into my outer corner too.

Step 2

Blend Blend Blend. Blending is definitely my favourite thing when applying shadows, as you can see the whole look come together. After I blended those two shades together, I then went in with a base brush and applied ‘platinum’ which is a few shades lighter than ‘aluminum’ onto the inner corners and brushing inwards so the rest of my lid is covered. Again, blend, and add any more of the crease shades if needed.

Step 3

Going in with the shade ‘Onyx’ which is a matte black, I added this to the outer corners and blending in to the rest of the shades to finish off that smokey look. I then went back with the shade ‘aluminium’ and applied that to my lower lash line. I’ve really loved applying shadow there lately, as it really brings the whole look together, and I mean, why not go all out there? It’s a smoky eye look after all!

Step 4

Next I went onto liner. I use a liquid liner by Maybelline with is a great dupe for Kat Von D’s tattoo liner. It’s super easy to apply. After I’ve done liner I apply mascara and apply eyeliner to my waterline.

Step 5

Lashes. I love fake lashes right now and getting surprisingly better at applying them as well! I use lashes by KISS which are really becoming a favourite of mine right now! This finishes off the look, and really makes a different to the end result

Step 6

Lastly, I use Collection Concealer to neaten up around my eyes. I then apply the rest of my face as well, which I’ve left links to everything above!

I hope you love this look as much as I do, and if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments below!

The look and lashes look great! I am absolutely terrible at applying them so I hardly use em. I wasn’t actually able to use any type of products on or near my left eye for about a year so I would definitely need to re-familiarize myself with their application should i want to use them. You look like you did a wonderful job of them.
