This past year has been crazy busy, and had things on most weekends since January! However summer is a little different as I don’t have as much planned as I’d like, so I thought I’d write a list of the things I want to do and then do an overall review of how I done at the end!
1. Go On Segways
There is a place about 45 minutes away from where I live that has boat rides, mini golf and you can go on a 45 minute segway ride! I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always wanted to go on segways and see what it’s like, as it looks so much fun!
2. Go Tree Climbing (again)
Just the weekend that past I went on a tree adventure, which is basically an obstacle course up in the trees! You have to climb along rope, swing from wooden planks and walk across rope to get to the next part of the course. It was honestly the most fun I’ve had in such a long time, even if I did think I was going to fall off and break my neck!
3. Go Away With The Girls
Every couple of months my girls and I get together and have a night out/night in and just have a general catch up! So, I am hoping we can all get together over the summer and do it again, as theres nothing better than a girls night!
4. Go Out Running
I’ve said as soon as the sun came out I’d put on my running shoes and go out running. I am back into my fitness right now, and I want to keep it up! I am also lucky enough to live next to the sea, so I’d get a pretty good view!
5. Travel Around More Of Scotland
I live In Oban which is known as the gateways to the isles. I have only been to two Islands, which is Barra and Islay, but I would love to see more as it’s only a boat ride away! I don’t know why I have never on a week off work just hopped on a boat and seen some of the gorgeous scenery around me! I also, want to jump in my car and go away for a road trip and get lost somewhere pretty! How perfect does that sound?
6. Go Camping
There’s nothing better than sitting by the campfire, with a bbq going, roasting s’mores and falling asleep underneath the stars! So I really hope I get the chance to do this with either friends or my boyfriend!
7. Find A Last Minute Concert
I love a last minute plan, and this is one I need to do! I only have Download planned for June but a spontaneous concert of a band I might not even know sounds fantastic! It’s also a great way to find new music!
8. Visit Friends Who Live Away
Some of my best friends unfortunately don’t live near me, so I really need to go and visit them! I always have the best times with them, and I have said for years I’d travel to Inverness and visit my best friend Kirsty. This summer I need to do that!
9. Spend More Time With Family
Work can sometimes get in the way and I don’t spend much time with family as I’d like! But I should never take my family for granted, so on the days I don’t have plans and am sitting around the house bored I am going to get up and visit them, and even plan a few days out together!
10. Make A Summer Scrapbook
Forget Facebook! I want to take loads of photos and put them all in a summer scrapbook, so I can look back and make it a even better summer each year! Lets do this!
What do you want to do this summer? Let me know in the comments below!
