5 Goals In 5 Years.

I thought setting goals like this would push me to actually complete them, and five years is a long time to try and complete these goals. I think setting goals for yourself is a great way to motivate yourself and also give you the push you need to accomplish the things you want to do in life. Here, are mine.

Go Away Abroad

I hate flying, and it honestly scares me just thinking of it. As i’ve got older instead of planning last minute holidays, or going away with family to hot countries, i’ve stayed at home and missed out on the hot weather and different sceneries. I want to change that and get over the fear of flying, and go away on my first holiday with my boyfriend. I’m itching to go back to Lake Garda in Italy as it’s so gorgeous, and also to show my boyfriend how pretty Italy really is!

Find A New Job (Get Paid Blogging/Youtube?)

This is one that’s really at the top of my list. I do like my job, but I feel like I need to get out and give myself a new challenge! I also, would love to eventually earn money from blogging and doing youtube! I am so passionate about both those things, and hope that one day in the next 5 years i’ll be lucky enough to do so!

Do An Online Course

I never understood that when in school and people said ‘you’ll regret not revising and doing well in your exams’ that i’d eventually actually feel exactly that. I wasn’t the best in school, and would rather sit and skive with friends than sit in a hot stuffy classroom and learn. However, now I look at that totally differently and wish I could give 16 year old Karina a good shake! So, I am wanting to find an online course and be able to get at least some good grades for my CV!

Save Money For A Mortgage!

This is one I know I’m going to struggle with! I am very sensible with money, but sensible enough to save it for makeup instead of important stuff like buying a property! We have spoke about buying in the next 6/7 years, as we love the current flat we are in so much, and it would be the perfect last place to rent before we jump onto the property ladder! I am aiming realistically to have about £8,000 but we will see how that turns out!

Learn To Play The Piano

This is random, I know, but lately i’ve had this really big fascination with the piano and just how beautiful it sounds, and that it can really bring a song together. I think maybe that might be listening to a little too much of Twenty One Pilots and hearing how well drums, a piano and vocals go beautifully together. Also, my boyfriend is a singer and plays guitar so obviously it would be ‘couple goals’ to sit and play while he sings and plays the guitar!

Have you set goals in your life? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to find out yours!

Ah I’m the opposite I quite enjoy flying! I don’t really enjoy the gross “I need a shower” feeling of flying but other than that I’m ok. For me I’d say try not to think too hard about it or overthink things and focus on the destination you’re going to so that you have something in your mind to look forward to. Also on planes I think either bringing your laptop and doing work or watching movies is an awesome way to distract yourself 🙂
