Glitter Festival Eye Look

We are officially in festival season so I thought I’d do a blog on all things glitter! I went for a bold colourful look, with touches of bright eyeliners and a ton of glitter under the eyes! All you will need for this is glitter of your choice, a colourful makeup palette and different colour liquid liners if you want to add more to your look!

The Products I Used:

Dust and Dance Glitter ‘sea horse‘ and ‘twinkle twinkle silver stars

Dust and Dance Glitter Glue

New Look Glitter

Nyx Brights Eyeliner

Sleek Ultra Matte Brights Palette

Too Faced Sketch Liner

L’Oreal Baby Lash Mascara

Rimmel Eye Pencil

How I Achieved This Look:

Step 1.

After priming my eyes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion, I then went in with Sleek palette and used the blue, purple and pink shades to create this look. I used the purple in my crease, blue in the outer corners and pink in the inner, remember to blend as it will look very blocky and you do not want to see all the separate colours, so blending will be your best friend for this look!

Step 2.

Next I added liquid eyeliner in black, I used the Too Faced Sketch Liner, but obviously any liner will do for this look! Also, below my flicks at each end I added a purple line and 3 red dots to make this look really stand out! The NYX liner is perfect for this and they come in some amazing colours! Lastly, for eyes I added mascara and black pencil liner in my waterline.

Step 3.

GLITTER TIME! I started off by adding the glue to underneath my eyes, and adding glitter, then applying more into the point of a V. The key for this was to build it up, and slowly, as the glitter gets everywhere! For the outer ends of this look I used the New Look glitter and then for the inner corners and to complete the rest of this look I went in with the Dust and Dance glitter. Top tip: If you don’t have glitter glue, vaseline apparently works just as well!

I hope you liked my very quick tutorial on this eye look. This is just one look, but there are so many more amazing ways to apply this glitter, and can’t wait to post more on my blog and Instagram! Are you going to any festivals this year? Let me know in the comments below!
