When it comes to skincare I suck! I wish I could say it’s because I have flawless skin and don’t get blemishes, but no, I still get spots like I did in high school, and honestly they can be slightly worse than back then, but now I know how to cover it up with an expensive high coverage foundation! So, I thought I’d do a super realistic post on what I actually use (which honestly isn’t much) and hope that you can find a product you love from this, or just be able to agree with me that skincare is really expensive and grabbing the nearest thing that’s on offer seems to work a treat!
My holy grail of all makeup removers, and honestly haven’t used anything else in about 2 years! It doesn’t irritate the skin, and make my skin feel rough like makeup wipes do, and take everything off and makes my skin feel fresh! I honestly just love this bottle, and it lasts a super long time as well! On the bottle it says 200 uses, which if you use makeup wipes generally there are about 25 per pack, so this really is a bargain!
Now, a little odd I know, but I also use this cleansing gel on my face which also removes makeup, but I only use to make sure every last minute of makeup is off! All you do is add this to a little bit of water on the palm of your hand, rub in and apply to your face, then rinse off. You’d honestly be surprised at how well this works, and can’t believe I put off using this for so long!
I am one of these unfortunate people than is allergic to almost every face mask. I’m not sure why, but I come out red and blotchy and honestly it’s a pretty scary sight! So, when I came across these, and heard so many bloggers talk about them, I thought i’d give it a go since it was a cloth face mask! I absolutely love this, and use this every two weeks! My skin feels so hydrated afterwards and feels super smooth too! I tend to go for the Lavender one as it’s infused with an de-tiring formula and that is right up my street considering I am always tired, or look tired!
I swear i’ve used Simple products, and their moisturisers for about 5 years now! It definitely reminds me of my childhood, and as much as I’d love to go out and spend £40 on Kiehl’s moisturiser I can’t afford it, so this does the job perfectly! However I do believe that it is time for a change, so any recommendations for a moisturiser would be grateful!
So here is my really poor for an excuse skin care routine! I swear I am not sponsored by Garnier, I am just obsessed with their products and also too lazy to go out and find other good brands! What is in your skin care routine? Let me know in the comments below!
