I always retweet competitions on twitter and never think I’ll actually win them! So, when I found out I won a bunch of Collection Cosmetics products I was beyond excited! Now, these days I am very much becoming a high street girl, and taking a step back from the higher end brands! I love writing about high end, but the most popular of my blogs are the makeup products that people can go out and buy which are affordable! So, I thought i’d show you what I won and what I thought of each product!
I won the whole collection of the SPF15 gloss lipstick collection! I am not a massive glossy lipstick fan as I feel they aren’t as long lasting as matte, but I am willing to give anything a try! I was pleasantly surprised about these lipsticks, they are easy to apply and super hydrating to the lips! The lipstick I wore lasting about 2/3 hours without another application but I hadn’t ate anything so I think if i had food, it wouldn’t of lasted as long on the lips but most lipsticks don’t anyway! It’s a really affordable price of £3.99 and you can get such an amazing collection of colours, my favourite being berry blush!
Now, I am fussy with liquid eyeliner and prefer a pen applicator as they are easier to apply in my opinion! However, this liner I can’t fault and I actually really love it! It has a thin nib so you easily apply, and it’s long lasting to and didn’t smudge at all throughout the day, which is a problem I have with most of my liquid liners! This is also super cheap at £2.99 so if you are wanting to try out eyeliner then I’d recommend this for your first liner!
I am a huge fan of this concealer and have been using this for about 4 years now! This is probably the most raved about concealer in the blogger and youtube community as it’s affordable at £4.19 but also does the job just as well as high end concealers! Now, not everyone agrees that this product is amazing (i’m look at you Louise) but i’m yet to convince her it’s pretty darn amazing, which is why I’m excited to tell you guys about the newest concealers they have released!
The newest concealers to the Collection range and I am 100% hooked on these! Now, colour correction still baffles me as I’m still shook at how different coloured concealers can get rid of those blemishes you can’t stand! I have been testing out the green concealer more as it takes away red blemishes and boy, does it WORK! I have a spot the size of the moon on my face right now, and it completely hides any evidence of it being there, which as you can imagine I am pretty pleased about!
