Let’s face it, anything to do with skincare or primers is a subject I don’t know too much about. I am the worst at keeping care of my skin, so when I watched Jamie Genevieve’s video with Drew Barrymore and they were talking about Drew’s new makeup brand, Flower Beauty I was very intrigued.

There are so many wonderful products Drew mentioned but the one that stood out to me was the Supernova Celestial Skin Elixir Primer. I had never used anything like it before, and as it being pretty affordable at £14.99,  I jumped online to Superdrug and ordered some right away.

Honestly, it’s so refreshing someone bringing a gorgeous affordable range to the high street! I think it’s long due, especially as most celebrities these days bring out more high end products. So this really excited me. I also want to let people know, that this product is scented. I am quite weird with scented foundations but I didn’t noticed the scent much at all, so that is a major plus to me.

Anyway, back to how to add this to your foundation, all you do is add a couple of drops to your foundation and apply like you normally would when applying your foundation. I find it easier to apply foundation to the back of your hand then add the drops but it’s totally up to yourself.

Final Thoughts:

I’ve been using this now for 1 week, and honestly love how my foundation looks on and how naturally super glowy my skin looks. I also bought Flower Beauty’s Shimmer and Strobe Highlighting Palette which is also another new favourite of mine. You get three gorgeous highlight shades and it pulls everything together and goes super well with the Skin Elixir.

I’d also love to hear your thought’s on Flower Beauty. Have you tried anything by them? Or did you just find out it even existed?

I watched the Jamie X Drew video too! I’d heard once or twice about Flower Beauty but I’d never realised they were selling in the UK. The elixor looks stunning, I’ll definitely have to try!
