I was away at the weekend and decided to treat myself to a few new make up pieces with the birthday money I had saved up. I bought the things I really wanted to try, and I’m very happy with what I bought. So here are the 4 products I picked up!

Pink smokey eyes are something I never tend to do, but this palette had gorgeous pink shades so I thought I’d give it a bash and try out my own take on a pink smokey eye look.

As promised I’d do a burnt orange make up look from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Palette, Modern Renaissance. I am absolutely loving orange shades right now, and i’m completely digging this look! Orange isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but once you try it, you’ll fall in love!

Anastasia Beverly Hills right now are my favourite make up brand! I absolutely swear by their make up, so when they released the Modern Renaissance Palette I knew I had to get my hands on it! With the burnt orange shades being my absolute go to shades at the moment, I was jumping for joy when it arrived.

This palette has 14 shades ranging from matte, satin and shimmery metallics which all compliment each other well together. I can’t wait to do some make up tutorials on my blog with this palette especially with the oranges and pinks! These shadows are well pigmented and long lasting and it’s totally worth the price at ¬£42.

What do you think of this palette? Will you be buying this?

My burnt orange make up look will be up Thursday 18th August!
